Founders

During the early period of the Reut's Institute's foundation, several people joined with Gidi Grinstein to give essential support to the young organization. These founders have a special place in the history of Reut:

Noa Eliasaf - Shoham

Ms. Eliasaf-Shoham is a member of Reut's founding team, and has a rich background in non-profit management. She founded "Peace on the Roads", an organization advocating for road safetfy in Israel (2000-2003). She served as public relations and advertising director of a coalition promoiting women's participation in politics (1997-1999). In addition, she ran varios nation-wide projects and prodcutions. Ms. Eliasaf-Shoham has track-record in public relations and a background in corporate responsibility, planning and management (Good Vision Ltd.). Ms. Eliasaf-Shoham is a graduate of Tel Aviv University.

Bari Bar Zion

Bari Bar Zion is an experienced professional manager and an economist. Between the years 2008-2010 he served as the Israel CEO of A4E - a British multinational company and as the CEO of Amin - a daughter company of A4E in partnership the Israeli Amanet. Between the years 2004 and 2008 Bari served as Director General of Bikur Cholim Hospital in Jerusalem. He turned the hospital around and made it a stable profitable operation taking it out of bankruptcy. From 1997 till 2002 Bari served as the Senior Advisor to the Director-General of the Israeli Ministry of Finance, dealing with a wide variety of economic and policy issues. Also, during this period, Mr. Bar-Zion coordinated the economic relations of Israel with the Palestinian Authority and was an active member of the economic negotiation teams with the Palestinians, including the Camp David talks of 2000. In the years 1996 - 1997 Bari was the Business Advisor to the Director General of the Israel State Lottery - Mifal Ha-Payis and the budget officer of the organization. Prior to that, between the years 1991 - 1995 Bari was a Deputy Director and later on a Director and an establisher of local newspapers owned by Yediot Aharonot - an Israeli media conglomerate. Bari holds a B.A. Magna Cum Laude in Economics and Business Administration and an M.B.A., both from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and a Master in Public Administration from the J.F. Kennedy School of Government at the Harvard University. Bar-Zion serves as an active board member of a few companies and NGOs. He is married with 3 children and resides in Jerusalem.

Moti Cristal

Mr. Cristal is a conflict analyst who graduated from Bar-Ilan University Law School (1994) and has an M.P.A. from Harvard University's Kennedy School of Government (1998). Moti is currently writing his PhD in Systems and Negotiations at the Interdisciplinary Institute of Management at the London School of Economics.

Noam Bardin

Mr. Bardin serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Deltathree, a leading internet telephony company he co-founded. Noam holds an M.P.A. from the Harvard University Kennedy School of Government (2003) and a BA in Economics and Political Science from the Hebrew University (1997).
